Important Topics for 42K

Run a marathon in Colombia! San Andrés Marathon: 42.195 km certified as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon or other major marathons sanctioned by World Athletics. Measured under the AIMS-WA system, a certificate valid through 2029 is awarded. Compete alongside international athletes on a coastal route featuring gusty winds, local music, and an incredible view of the sunrise over the Sea of Seven Colors. Includes a race T-shirt, timing chip, and finisher’s medal. Note: 5-hour time limit (start at 4:00 a.m.) and cutoff by officials at 8:00 a.m.

NOTA #1 La maratón inicia a las 4:30 am. Los participantes que creen que correrán en más de 5 horas la maratón, les sugerimos correr 21K. A las 9:30 se abrirán las vías en su normalidad. Podrás seguir corriendo hasta el final si así lo deseas, pero compartiendo la vía con carros, motos y demás vehículos.

NOTA #2 Queremos que corras muy rápido y con poco sol, así que arrancaremos la maratón a las 4:30 am. Para tu información, ese día el sol saldará a las 6:32 am, un retraso de 37 minutos respecto a Bogotá D.C. 🤓
